LeaderLink was originally a Valley Leadership engagement opportunity to build the capacity of the nonprofit sector by providing comprehensive board training to Valley Leadership Institute alumni and then linking them to nonprofits recruiting board members. LeaderLink’s use declined over time, which created an opportunity for the several leadership organizations in the Phoenix metro area to collaborate to update the platform to “LeaderLink 2.0” in order to maximize its helpfulness to the community. Lodestar provided a challenge grant to secure the consultant to update the platform.
