Two Junior Achievement Chapters in Connecticut Merge to Expand Coverage

Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. Founded in 1919, the Junior Achievement programs reach nearly 4.9 million students per year. The Junior Achievement chapters of Western Connecticut and Southwest Connecticut merged under the name Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County in order to broaden their reach, scale up their programming, and expand their development and marketing capacity. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration helped to fund one-time costs associated with the merger.
