Entwine, a program under the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, offers transformative global service and travel experiences, innovative educational programs, and tailored leadership development opportunities through which young people can explore, find meaning, and take action. KAHAL aspires to give the tens of thousands of students studying abroad each year the resources, tools, and connections they need to meaningfully engage with the Jewish community and deepen their Jewish identity during one of the most important, meaningful, and enduring experiences of their lives. They wanted to explore a merger to consolidate expenses and provide a continuum of experiences for their students. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration provided a grant to help cover the costs of a consultant.
