Crisis Nursery, Inc. (CNI) and Child Crisis Center (CCC) were both organizations serving vulnerable children and families in Phoenix and the East Valley through programs and services including parental education, emergency children’s shelters, foster care, and adoption. The organizations collectively had more than 70 years of experience and a strong history of working together. Through merger discussions, CNI and CCC determined that they could together serve more families, expand their services, and ultimately increase their impact, thus leading to the decision to merge into Child Crisis Arizona. The Lodestar Foundation provided grants to help cover costs of both the merger exploration and implementation.
