She’s the First (STF) partners with grassroots leaders and community-based organizations to advance girls’ rights globally. Girl Rising is an international girls’ rights and education organization that uses storytelling to promote girls’ education. Driven by a shared desire to grow impact and create a holistic model for supporting girls in marginalized communities around the world, STF and Girl Rising are merging. The organizations share mission alignment, complementary programming, overlapping staff connections, and joint advocacy efforts. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund provided a grant to support the marketing, public relations, and human resource consulting components of the merger implementation.
