Barrow Neurological Institute and Banner Health are Phoenix-based healthcare providers that both have preeminent Alzheimer’s disease research and care facilities. Lodestar provided funds for a collaborative data-collection project to be used by the National Institutes of Health to identify biomarkers for the disease. That research may ultimately be used to help diagnose, treat, and cure the disease.
