London Organizations Merge to Consolidate the Local Community Foundation Movement

Both the Capital Community Foundation and the North West London Community Foundation were grassroots organizations supporting community-based nonprofits to improve the lives of the disadvantaged in London. Seeking to consolidate London’s community foundation movement and achieve greater efficiency, the Foundations decided to pursue a merger. Supported by a grant from the SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration, the organizations merged in 2012 and now operate as the London Community Foundation.
