Nazun works to minimize instances of food insecurity on college campuses. MAZON provides training and resources to anti-hunger organizations in the most food insecure communities in the United States. Though Nazun’s focus is addressing hunger on college campuses and MAZON’s focus is broader, these organizations have partnered programmatically in the past. Nazun’s leadership realized that there was demand to scale its program upward but that they did not have the infrastructural support or financial model to support this need. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration provided a grant to help cover the implementation costs of this merger.
