Action for Healthy Kids works with schools and parents to improve students’ physical and mental health. Action is based in Chicago, though it works with schools nationally. RMC Health provides professional learning and capacity building resources for schools and organizations in Colorado to support student health. They wanted to merge to increase efficiencies, improve long term sustainability, leverage leadership talent, and provide RMC Health with a national footprint. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration provided a grant to help cover the costs of the merger consultant and moving costs.
