BHcare provides comprehensive behavioral health, prevention, and domestic violence services for individuals and families in Connecticut. The Lower Naugatuck Valley Parent Child Resource Center (PCRC) provided behavioral health services for children, young adults, and families in the same region. In order to provide continuity of care for those in need of behavioral and mental healthcare and to grow their collective capacity, the organizations decided to merge. The SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration provided a grant to fund partial costs of the transaction.
