Olive Crest is one of the leading child welfare organizations in Washington State, providing flexible, individualized treatment options for youth and families, including foster care. Tacoma Youth for Christ (YFC Tacoma) operated a foster care program in four counties in Washington. In 2016, YFC Tacoma Foster Care merged with Olive Crest to reduce duplication of services and lower foster care costs while maintaining high-quality services. A grant from the SeaChange-Lodestar Fund for Nonprofit Collaboration helped cover transaction costs.
